Use these essential tips to ensure your printed marketing campaign has the best chance of being successful. Remember that first impressions are everything, so use a professional graphic designer whenever possible and ensure you use professional quality, printed materials. (See the gallery of shame here!)
When considering your design for your flyers and leaflets aim to keep it visual, engaging & concise – say more with less. Too much text can be a little off putting. Be sure to create a catchy headline and link to your website for more information. If feasible, include an enticing offer, such as a 10% discount with flyer or a similar deal to potentially increase your response rates.
For door door to distribution, choose to have your leaflets or flyers printed on 170gsm paper thickness. If it is any thinner, the leaflets and flyers will get easily crumpled or torn in the letterboxes. You may be surprised to know that letterboxes are not all plain sailing – some are very difficult to post things through due to obstructions and defects. Therefore, printed materials intended for posting, do need to be somewhat resilient.
